Pitchfork.tv's Contours Series Documents Courtney Barnett's Tour in Real Time

Pitchfork.tv is happy to announce the launch of a new series, Contours, taking you on tour with some of our favorite artists. As they travel from show to show, we’ll give you behind-the-scenes moments as they occur in real time. After the tour’s over, you’ll also get to see a documentary made about the trip, featuring interviews, performances, and plenty of scenery shot from the window.

The first artist to be featured in Contours is Courtney Barnett, as she travels across the U.S. in support of her new album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit. Starting on Friday, May 29 in Napa, and going through Sunday, June 7 in New Orleans, Pitchfork.tv will bring you regular updates from the road.

Photosets and video vignettes will be published live to an interactive map. After the dates are over, Pitchfork.tv will share a short documentary on the whole journey.

To keep up to date, check that map, stay tuned to @pitchfork and @pitchforktv on Twitter, @pitchfork on Instagram, and Pitchfork’s YouTube channel
