Polyvinyl Announces Singles Series Vol. 3 Featuring Beach Slang, Japanese Breakfast, Modern Baseball, More

Polyvinyl has announced Singles Series Vol. 3, which follows 2014’s Singles Series Vol. 2. Every month, subscribers to the series will receive a colored 7” vinyl with two songs from each participating artist, some signed to the label, others the label has “crossed paths with.” As with previous years, 12 artists were selected: Beach Slang, Japanese Breakfast, Modern Baseball, Twin Peaks, Joyce Manor, Jay Som, Diet Cig, Mothers, Owen, Ra Ra Riot, Sonny & the Sunsets, and Tim Kasher (Cusive, the Good Life). All songs were recorded on a 4-track cassette recorder.

Last year, 1000 subscriptions were available. This year, only 750 subscriptions will be available. Each vinyl will be packaged in a jacket with artwork from Midwestern artist Jay Ryan.
