Prince’s Remains on Display at Paisley Park in an Urn Shaped Like Paisley Park

Yesterday, Prince’s Paisley Park estate opened for its first day of public tours. It was revealed that Prince’s remains have been put in an urn made in the shape of a miniature Paisley Park and put on display in the atrium, the Current reports (via Billboard).

The 3-D printed urn was designed by Tyka and President Nelson (Prince’s sister and nephew) in collaboration with the design company Foreverence. According to the Current, the urn contains several nods to Prince, such as “ornamental white doves,” a series of seven “hand-selected iridescent crystals” (in reference to the singer’s favorite number), and a re-creation of his “purple Yamaha piano.”

While pictures of the urn are not yet available, you can see Foreverence’s past work, including a custom urn for Lemmy Kilmister, on their website.
