On June 16, Hardly Art are releasing a split 7″ called A Half of Seven. The A-side is a track called ”Blues Festival” from Protomartyr. It’s their first new music since last year’s Under Color of Official Right and it features guest vocals from the Breeders‘ Kelley Deal.
The B-side is a track called “Loud Underneath” by R. Ring, the band featuring Deal and Ampline‘s Mike Montgomery. Both songs will be available to purchase digitally tomorrow. Both songs were recorded at Candyland in Cincinnati with Montgomery late last year.
On July 18, Protomartyr will play Pitchfork Music Festival at Union Park in Chicago.
