Public Enemy, Common, John Legend to Play Social Justice Music Festival

The inaugural “Many Rivers to Cross” Social Justice Music and Arts Festival has been announced, as Billboard points out. Organized by Harry Belafonte’s organization Sankofa, the festival will take place October 1-2 in Chattahoochee Hills, GA. Artists that are set to play the festival include John Legend, Common, Dave Matthews, Carlos Santana, Public Enemy, and Estelle. The two-day event will also feature activists like Jesse Williams, Dr. Cornel West, actor Danny Glover, and Michelle Alexander. Tickets for the festival go on sale July 29.
