Pusha T Wrote McDonald’s "I’m Lovin’ It" Jingle

Steve Stoute, former record industry executive and current CEO of the marketing firm Translation, recently sat down with Hot 97′s Ebro Darden for a wide-ranging interview. During the course of their conversation, he revealed that Pusha T wrote the famous McDonald’s “I’m Lovin It” jingle as one of the “first big” projects that Translation handled. It was previously believed that Pharrell and Justin Timberlake were responsible for the fast-food chain’s slogan. “No, you know who did that?” Stoute said, when Ebro initially gave Pharrell the credit. “Pusha T. That’s crazy that Pusha T wrote the song to McDonald’s ‘I’m Lovin It.’” Watch Stoute’s interview below. He makes the reveal around the four-minute mark of the interview. In the last week, Pusha also released a collaboration with Jay Z called “Drug Dealers Anonymous.”
