I’m shocked to hear that Prince passed at such a young age. Musically, he could do it all: sing, play, arrange and produce. Love & Mercy

What?! NO!!!!! Not Prince!!!!

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

Prince, if you can still hear, thank you for your musical genius, love and hiring KILLER lady musicians when no one else would. We owe you.😓

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

Saying that I “love” Prince just doesn’t cover it.

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

Prince was the Bowie of my generation, and they were the best of all generations. Sigh..

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

It makes me shiver when I think of all the people who might not have found the bravery to make art if it weren’t for Prince and Bowie. 😓

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

Prince wrote songs re love + lust + human emotion. Sang TO women, not at them. He valued us. Showed men it was cool to SHOW feelings. HUGE.

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

I remember in the 80′s people thought so many women loved Prince cause he wore a G-string. We loved him cause he wanted to know us.

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

Prince also worked with gay musicians at a time when people were WAY publicly shitty about that. I can can’t think of an artist who was..

— Neko Cock of Mons (@NekoCase) April 21, 2016

…so loved and celebrated across the board. Everyone was welcome. Haters could come to if they behaved. ☺️❤️
