Rapper Sean Price Has Died

Sean Price, the Brooklyn rapper and one-half of the hip hop duo Heltah Skeltah, has died this morning while asleep at his home in Brooklyn, The Source reports. Price was 43 years old.

Price got his start rapping under the moniker Ruck, alongside Jahmal Bush, aka Rock.  Together the duo formed Heltah Skeltah, a Duck Down Music group born out of the Brooklyn Hip Hop collective Boot Camp Clik.

Heltah Skeltah released three albums– 1996′s Nocturnal, 1998′s Magnum Force, and 2008′s D.I.R.T. Price later went on to have a solo career under his own name, releasing 2005′s Monkey Barz, 2007′s Jesus Price Supastar and 2012′s Mic Tyson.

Price’s cause of death is not yet known.
