Kindness has shared a video for his Robyn-featuring Otherness single “Who Do You Love”. Directed by Daniel Brereton (a recent subject of an episode of Pitchfork.tv and Canal 180′s “Director ID” series), it features portraits of Adam Bainbridge and Robyn’s loved ones in England and Sweden. Watch it below.

Among the video’s subjects is a metalhead who Robyn and Bainbridge met in Stockholm who, according to a press release, “recognized Robyn, then refused to believe Robyn was actually Robyn,” and then joined them at a guitar store for an impromptu jam session.

Bainbridge said of the video:

This video and this song is about people and connection, and how you can identify who you are by those you love. Those people say a hell of a lot about you. Daniel’s idea was a series of portraits of our closest friends and family—in a way, the most revealing portraits of us possible. There’s something about seeing all these people together, all these people that would do this for us—it makes the song make a little more sense, and a little more powerful.

Robyn said:

There is so much information in the faces of people. And some of the people I love more than anything are in this video together with people that mean the world to Adam, so for me it has many dimensions. But for anyone watching it has a beautiful way of communicating the different layers in the song.
