Rock Hall 2017: Watch David Letterman Induct Pearl Jam, Call Ticketmaster “Bloodthirsty Weasels”

During his tenure hosting “Late Show,” David Letterman had Pearl Jam on numerous times, with frontman Eddie Vedder forming a good relationship with the host over the course of the band’s career. Vedder notably appeared during one of Letterman’s final broadcasts to perform “Better Man.” Tonight, Letterman inducted Pearl Jam into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, stepping in for an ailing Neil Young, who was initially announced to induct the band. During his speech, Letterman cracked jokes about the band inviting their former drummers to the induction ceremony and also addressed the band’s feud with Ticketmaster, calling the ticketing company, “Beady-eyed, bloodthirsty weasels.” Watch clips from the speech below.
