Run the Jewels Are Playable Characters in “Gears of War 4”
Earlier today, Run the Jewels (aka Killer Mike and El-P) shared a new song “Panther Like a Panther (I’m The Shit)” via a new trailer for the video game “Gears of War 4,” and announced that they would be selling new RTJ/“Gears of War” merch. The duo will also be available as playable characters in the multiplayer mode of the video game, according to a press release. “Gears of War 4” is out October 11. You can watch a trailer for the video game below, which features Run the Jewels’ new song.
In June, Killer Mike said Run the Jewels 3 could be expected by the end of 2016. Today, El tweeted that they are “TRYING to finish, mix and master the record in time for a 2016 release.”
