Run the Jewels Become Squawk the Jewels in "Colbert" Sketch
Earlier this week, Run the Jewels stopped by “Late Show With Stephen Colbert”, where they performed alongside TV on the Radio. Today, Colbert dropped a sketch in which El-P and Killer Mike announce their decision to build off the Meow the Jewels remix project, which will feature their rapping remixed over the sound of cat noises. Now, they’ll be Squawk the Jewels, Couple Arguing Outside a Party the Jewels, Nixon Tapes the Jewels, and many more. Watch the very funny sketch, which features some of those remixed songs, below.
