Rusko Diagnosed With Stomach Cancer
Christopher Mercer, aka British bass music pioneer Rusko, is undergoing treatment for gastric lymphoma, a type of stomach cancer. In a note posted to Twitter, the producer explained that he has returned to the UK to receive treatment following a stay in an American hospital, as Mixmag points out. He added that all upcoming shows have been cancelled, though new music is on the way. “In the meantime if I’m a bit quiet you know why,” he concluded. Read the note below.
