Sharon Van Etten Surprise Appearance Makes New Zealand Newscaster Break Down in Tears
New Zealand newscaster John Campbell is a huge fan of Sharon Van Etten, and was bummed about missing her show in Auckland tonight due to a prior commitment. But Campbell’s colleagues weren’t about to leave him in the lurch—instead, they got Van Etten to make a surprise appearance during his show, “Campbell Live”. Campbell was so overwhelmed with emotion, he started crying. After the warm welcome, Van Etten played “Tarifa” from last year’s Are We There. Watch the video here.
