Sigur Rós Share “Route One” App, 360° Video: Watch
Last month, Sigur Rós launched “Route One,” a 24-hour “slow TV” event. The broadcast was a trip along the entirety of Route 1, a road that circles around Iceland, that was set to a stretched version of their single “Óveður.” Today, the band has shared a 360° version of “Route One,” allowing you to experience the Icelandic countryside in full rotation. Check it out below, as well as a 1080p HD version of “Route One.”
The band has also launched a “Route One” app, which will allow users to play with “Óveður” as the band did during the trip. It’s available via iOS.
