Sleigh Bells have accused Demi Lovato of sampling two of their songs without permission, as Jezebel points out. “Demi Lovato flattered you guys sampled Infinity Guitars & Riot Rhythm for “Stars” but we were not contacted,” the band’s Derek Miller wrote on Twitter. “Gotta clear those.” (A quick sampling of Sleigh Bells’ mentions confirms that some of Lovato’s fans are not enthused about the comparison.)

“Stars” appears on Lovato’s new album, Confident. Both “Infinity Guitars” and “Riot Rhythm” are from Sleigh Bells’ first album, Treats. Listen to all three songs below.

We’ve reached out to Lovato’s representatives for comment.
