"SNL"’s Vanessa Bayer Offers "Sound Advice" to Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock

“Saturday Night Live”‘s Vanessa Bayer stars in the Above Average web series “Sound Advice” as Janessa Slater, the least helpful publicist in the universe. In the past, she has “advised” artists such as Jenny Lewis, Drake, TV on the Radio, Sleater-Kinney, St. Vincent, Interpol, and Haim. Her latest episode is a sit-down with Isaac Brock from Modest Mouse. 

“Have you guys ever thought of doing the festival circuit?” Bayer asks. “‘Cos it feels like you guys would do really well. You know, there’s a ton of mediocre white people with a ton of disposable income who like to blow it listening to middle-aged lumbersexuals sing them lullabies in a wet field, y’know?” Watch it below.
