Stephen Colbert, James Corden, and Jimmy Kimmel Do Beyoncé Lemonade Sketches: Watch

Beyoncé‘s new album Lemonade and its extended video were the subject of sketches on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last night. Corden made an elaborate “visual monologue” based on the video that aired on HBO, while Kimmel used emoji to explain the public speculation around the record’s themes of infidelity. Watch both clips below. Update (4/26 9:22 a.m.): Stephen Colbert “white-mansplained” the album’s themes on “The Late Show.” “This album is about so much more than Beyoncé’s marriage,” he said. “It makes powerful statements about women being disrespected, especially black women. And I know you have been waiting for a white man to explain it to you.” Watch that below, too.

“I don’t wanna do another Trump joke,” says Corden, mock-seriously, in his visual monologue’s voiceover. “I’ve exhausted that topic. I’ve talked about his hair, his tiny baby hands. Doing Trump jokes makes me feel dirty.”
