Steve Reich’s First Three Albums for ECM to be Reissued in New Box Set
A new Steve Reich reissue has been announced, featuring his first three albums for ECM Records. The ECM Recordings will gather Music for 18 Musicians, Music for a Large Ensemble/Violin Phase/Octet, and Tehillim in a 3xCD box set. The release will also come with copies of Reich’s original liner notes, archival photographs, and a new booklet essay by music critic Paul Griffiths. It’s out September 30 via ECM.
