Avi Buffalo return with At Best Cuckold, the follow up to their 2010 self-titled debut. It was produced by the band’s Avi Zahner-Isenberg, and will be released on September 9 in North America (September 8 in Europe) via Sub Pop. Among its 10 cuts is previously-shared single “So What”. Tennis are back with the follow-up to their late 2013 EP Small Sound and 2012′s Young and Old LPThe new album, Ritual in Repeat, is out September 9 via Communion, and was produced by Patrick Carney (The Black Keys), Jim Eno (Spoon), and Richard Swift (the Shins). Taylor, better known as Hiss Golden Messenger, recently signed with Merge to release his new album Lateness of DancersThe new album arrives September 9, and follows last year’s HawCollaborators on the project include Megafaun’s Phil and Brad Cook, William Tyler, Matt McCaughan of Bon Iver, Alexandra Sauser-Monnig of Mountain Man, and Scott Hirsch. Canadian power-poppers Sloan have a new double album coming out on September 9. Commonwealth, which will be released by Yep Roc, features a solo side from each of the band’s four members, each corresponding to a different suit of cards. It’s the follow-up to their 2011 effort The Double CrossGive it an Advance spin here until September 9.

Florida/New England psych outfit the Ukiah Drag will release their latest album, In the Reaper’s Quarters, on September 9 via Wharf Cat. It was produced by the Men’s Ben Greenberg and includes “Her Royal Grip”. Listen here until September 9.
