Dntel, aka the Postal Service’s Jimmy Tamborello, is back with Human Voice, the follow-up to 2012′s Aimlessness. It arrives September 23 via Leaving Records/Stones Throw. The Aislers Set were a 90s indie pop band started by Amy Linton after her band Henry’s Dress broke up. They made three albums together before parting ways in 2004. Their first and second albums, 1998′s Terrible Things Happen and 2000′s The Last Match, are both out September 23 via Slumberland and Suicide Squeeze. Give both Advance listens until September 23. (Their third album, 2003′s How I Learned to Write Backwards, is being reissued on October 14.)

Whirr, the Philadelphia/Bay Area outfit featuring Nick Bassett (formerly of Deafheaven) have a new album out next week via Graveface. Sway was recorded at Oakland’s Atomic Garden with Sunbather producer Jack Shirley, and can be streamed here until its September 23 release date.

Foxes in Fiction (aka songwriter Warren Hildebrand) will release his latest LP, Ontario Gothic, next week via Orchid Tapes. It’s the follow-up to 2010′s Swung From the Branches, and features Owen Pallett on more than half of the album, including the previously-shared cut “Shadow’s Song” and the title track. L.A. duo Youth Code follow last year’s self-titled album with new EP A Place to Stand, out September 23 via Dais. It features the excellent opening track “Consuming Guilt” plus remixes from clipping., Corrections House’s Sanford Parker, God Module, and Silent Servant. Baton Rouge producer James Prudhomme, aka Suicideyear,  will release Remembrance on September 23 via Oneohtrix Point Never’s Daniel Lopatin’s Software label. Give it an Advance spin here until September 23.
