Sturgill Simpson Sings Waffle House Song With Stephen Colbert, Performs "Brace for Impact (Live a Little)" on "Late Show": Watch

Last night on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Stephen welcomed musical guest Sturgill Simpson. The country singer performed “Brace for Impact (Live a Little)” from his new album A Sailor’s Guide to Earth. The episode also featured a segment where Simpson and Colbert pitched an original song for Waffle House to include in their jukebox. (The 24-hour breakfast chain’s jukebox features a series of songs that are specifically about Waffle House.) The track is called “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Knuckleheads,” and after they sing it, Colbert points to the camera and says, “Waffle House, do the right thing.” Watch it happen below.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated the title of the song Sturgill performed.
