Sun Kil Moon Shares Nine-Minute Track "The Possum"

Earlier this month, Sun Kil Moon‘s Mark Kozelek released his seasonal album Sings Christmas Carols, a venture into the world of carols and good cheer. On his latest track, however, he’s not talking about Santa, but about dead possums – and hanging out with Godflesh.
Appropriately titled “The Possum”, the roughly nine-minute track, which Kozelek just shared, features an appearance by former Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley (it’ll be available on December 1 via Kozelek’s label, Caldo Verde). Listen below, via Stereogum.
