Suspect Arrested in Drake Tour Bus Heist

Earlier today it was reported that millions of dollars in jewelry was stolen from a tour bus during Drake and Future’s Summer Sixteen Tour stop at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena. The jewelry belonged to Drake’s DJ Future the Prince. Now a suspect has been arrested in connection with the heist, TMZ reports. Travion King was reportedly caught on campus at Arizona State University this afternoon. Police say they found King with a briefcase containing all of the jewelry. King reportedly worked in the arena for concerts, but was not working during the Drake show.

The Phoenix Police Department have confirmed the arrest. “In arrest has been made in this case. 21 year old Travion King has been arrested and charged with the theft from 201 E Jefferson Street,” they said in a statement to The Fader. “The property has been recovered as well and officers will be working with the victim to account for the items reported stolen.” Surveillance footage helped the police identify King.
