Swervedriver Return With New Album I Wasn't Born to Lose You, Share "Setting Sun", Announce Tour

The shoegaze reunion wave continues: Swervedriver have announced their first album since 1998′s 99th Dream. It’s called I Wasn’t Born to Lose You and it’s out March 3 via Cobraside. Check out “Setting Sun” above.

“Setting Sun” will be available as a digital and physical single on January 13. The b-side is the band’s cover of Television’s “Days”.

The band have also announced a series of tour dates, which will take them across North America in March. They’re set to appear at SXSW.

Swervedriver released four albums in their original run between 1989 and 1998. They went on hiatus for a decade before reuniting in 2008. They appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” in 2012, and a year later, they shared their single “Deep Wound”, which will be included on the album.
