The Avalanches Update Social Media Accounts

While the Avalanches are still at work on the follow-up to 2000′s Since I Left You, the group have updated their social media accounts and their website. Their Facebook, Twitter, (brand new and not-yet-used) Instagram, SoundCloud, YouTube, and website all feature the same image of a small gold butterfly on black fabric, as Stereogum points out. They’ve given no indication as to what it may mean. See the image below. Last year, founding member Darren Seltmann left the Avalanches. It was the first significant news from them since Danny Brown said in 2014 that his collaboration with them will “change the world.”

As usual, there’s no real news on when the Avalanches album will come out. Here’s what we knew four years ago.
