The Beatles’ Live at Hollywood Bowl Set for Release

The Beatles’ Live at Hollywood Bowl Set for Release

Back in 1977, the Beatles released The Beatles At The Hollywood Bowl, a live album capturing the band’s riotous mid-’60s concerts in L.A. “The chaos, I might almost say panic, that reigned at these concerts was unbelievable unless you were there,” said producer George Martin upon its release. Now, a new album documenting the concerts has been announced by Apple Corps Ltd. and Universal Music Group. The record was directly sourced, remixed, and remastered from the original three-track recordings, by Giles Martin and Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios. It’s out September 9, as a companion album to Ron Howard’s forthcoming documentary The Beatles: Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years. As well as four previously unreleased recordings, the album package includes a 24-page booklet featuring a new David Fricke essay. Check out the tracklist below.
