The Beatles Release Music on Streaming Sites

Yesterday, it was announced that the Beatles‘ catalog would become available on music streaming services. Tonight, that promise has been fulfilled and the Fab Four’s catalog is now accessible for listening on the following nine services: Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Google Play, Microsoft Groove, Amazon Prime, Rhapsody, and Slacker. The music has been made available globally on a rolling basis. Once the clock strikes 12:01 a.m. in your time zone, you can stream the Beatles. As previously reported, the back catalog will not be exclusive to paying subscribers, meaning “freemium” users (on sites such as Spotify and Deezer) will have access too.
This isn’t the first time the band’s music has been late to digitally adapt: They didn’t become available in the iTunes store until 2010.
