The Decemberists Share "A Beginning Song" Lyric Video

The Decemberists have shared the lyric video for a new song called “A Beginning Song”, which appears on their upcoming album What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World. Check it out below via Stereogum.

What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World is out January 20, which is also “Decemberists Day” in Portland, The Oregonian reports. The band will be honored that day at Portland City Hall by Mayor Charlie Hales. At the event, an art piece inspired by the new album will be unveiled—it’s a collaboration between 50 Portland artists and small businesses.
