The Flaming Lips and Julianna Barwick Cover the Beatles and David Bowie at Tibet House Benefit

This year’s installment of the annual Tibet House Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall took place on Thursday and featured performances from Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Devonté Hynes, and many others. The Flaming Lips were on hand to perform covers of the Beatles’ “She’s Leaving Home” and David Bowie’s “Warszawa” with Julianna Barwick.
The show also featured an all-star jam of “People Have the Power”, which was led by Patti Smith and featured the Flaming Lips, Anderson, Glass, Miley Cyrus, Blondie’s Debbie Harry, Sturgill Simpson, and others. Watch video of those performances below via The Future Heart.
