The Game Enlists 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Diddy, Curren$y for "Don't Shoot", a Tribute to Michael Brown

The Game has released “Don’t Shoot”. It’s a tribute to Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager who was shot and killed after an encounter with the police in Ferguson. The six-minute track comes with a huge list of collaborators: 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Diddy, Curren$y, Fabolous, Wale, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Yo Gotti, Problem, King Pharaoh, and TGT.

The track is available on iTunes, and proceeds will go toward the Michael Brown Memorial Fund. Game told Rolling Stone:

“The issues in Ferguson really hit home for me, and I feel compelled to use my musical platform to address this. I am a black man with kids of my own that I love more than anything, and I cannot fathom a horrific tragedy like Michael Brown’s happening to them. This possibility has shaken me to my core. That is why this song must be made and why it was so easy for so many of my friends to come together and unite against the injustice.”
