The Lonely Island’s Popstar Trailer Is Here, Ft. Joanna Newsom, DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, Usher, More

The Lonely Island—the comedy trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone—are putting out a feature film, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. The Judd Apatow-produced movie, which also stars Sarah Silverman, Tim Meadows, Maya Rudolph, and Bill Hader hits theaters June 3. Today, they’ve shared the film’s first trailer. It features cameos from DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Simon Cowell, a hologram Adam Levine, and more. Plus, at the 1:34 mark, Joanna Newsom uses a defibrillator on Hader’s character (while rocking blue hair, goggles, and piercings, no less.)
