The Monks’ Unreleased Songs Coming Out on Third Man, “I’m Watching You” Shared: Listen

Third Man Records has unearthed rare recordings from garage rock pioneers the Monks. Jack White’s label will release Hamburg Tapes 1967, featuring five previously unheard tracks from the band, on June 23. The announcement is accompanied by one such track called “I’m Watching You.” Stream the song and find the tracklisting below. “I’m Watching You” was made during the same 1967 sessions that would produce the Monks’ final single “Love Can Tame the Wild.” The other four songs were recorded after hours in the Top Ten Club later that year, just before the band broke up.
