The National’s Bryce Dessner Shares “Imagining Buffalo” From The Revenant Soundtrack
The National‘s Bryce Dessner, German electronic musician Alva Noto, and Ryuichi Sakamoto are behind the score for Alejandro González Iñárritu’s new film The Revenant. Listen to Dessner’s track “Imagining Buffalo” above. It’s performed by the Berlin-based collective s t a r g a z e and conductor André de Ridder.
The soundtrack is out digitally on Christmas Day, the CD is out January 8, and the vinyl pressing is coming in April via Milan Records. The Leonardo DiCaprio-starring film has its limited release on Christmas and a wide release on January 8. Watch a trailer below.
