The Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde to Release Memoir

Chrissie Hynde will release a memoir later this year, Billboard reports. The book doesn’t yet have a title, but will focus on her childhood, the 1970s punk scene and her time with the Pretenders. It’ll be out September 8 through Penguin Random House. The publisher describes the book as “incredibly frank and “strikingly intimate.”
