The Roots Enlist "Broad City"’s Abbi and Ilana to Announce 2016 Roots Picnic Lineup
The Roots Picnic is a festival curated by the Roots that takes place every summer in their hometown of Philadelphia. This year’s fest takes place June 4 at Festival Pier. The festival’s lineup has been announced via a great video starring “Broad City” co-creators Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson. Watch it below.
Usher (backed by the Roots), Future, and Leon Bridges will headline. The Roots will also play a solo set. Other artists performing include Blood Orange, Kehlani, Migos, Jidenna, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, DMX, Metro Boomin, Swizz Beatz, Kaytranada, Willow Smith, Ibeyi, and more.
