The Stone Roses Recording New Music

The Stone Roses have already announced that they will reunite for a handful of shows this June and July. Now, frontman Ian Brown has confirmed that the group are working on new material, in a brief chat with NME outside the Church Studios, a London recording space run by Paul Epworth (Adele, Coldplay). While Brown didn’t elaborate on how many tracks the band has laid down, he said the recording process is going “like a dream” and that “glorious” new music is coming soon. Check out footage below.

The band’s last album, Second Coming, came out in 1994. The Stone Roses first dissolved in 1996, and then reformed in 2012, when they played dates in Manchester and at various global festivals.
