The Strokes’ Nick Valensi Announces Debut CRX Album Produced by Josh Homme

Earlier this month, the Strokes’ Nick Valensi announced a new band called CRX. The band includes Ralph Alexander (The Dose), Richie James Follin (Guards), Darian Zahedi, and Jon Safley (The Reflections). Today, they’ve announced their debut album, New Skin (out October 28 via Columbia). It’s produced by Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal), and mixed by Andrew Scheps. Earlier this year, Homme produced Iggy Pop’s new album Post Pop Depression. Valensi played on the Strokes’ new EP Future Present Past.
