The The Return With Johnny Marr For First Single in 15 Years
Matt Johnson has reformed the The for the band’s first new song in 15 years. “You Can’t Stop What’s Coming” is out April 22 for Record Store Day, and will be issued as a 7″ single. In addition to Johnson and Johnny Marr, former contributors Zeke Manyika and James Eller also played on the new song. Meja Kullersten provided backing vocals, while Chris Whitten recorded drums and Iain Berryman played keyboards. Check out the Record Store Day listing for the new song here.
