The Weeknd, Kanye, Drake, Nas, Ghostface, More Appear on “Tell Your Friends” Remix: Listen
“Secret Passionfruit”—a mashup of the Weeknd’s “Secrets” and Drake’s “Passionfruit”—and an extended remix of the Kanye West-produced “Tell Your Friends” featuring West, Vancouver rapper Young Braised, Nas, Ghostface Killah, Drake, and Belly have surfaced on Soundcloud. The “Tell Your Friends (Extended Remix)” compiles previously-shared freestyles over the Beauty Behind the Madness song. West’s verse, for example, came in a 2015 track called “When I See It,” while Nas’ verse was performed at the Met Gala in 2016. Hear both tracks below.
Update: The Weeknd has tweeted that this Soundcloud is not affiliated with him or XO, and that these are “fake mashups.” The “Secrets” / “Passionfruit” mix, created by Young Kipper, was played on Drake’s OVO Sound radio show in April. It is unclear what the origin of “Tell Your Friends (Extended Remix)” is.
