The White Stripes Albums Return to Spotify After Disappearance

Several of the White Stripes’ albums briefly disappeared from Spotify last night. The only full album that remained was 2007’s Icky Thump, which was released by Third Man with Warner Bros. (Apple Music lists Third Man alone as the copyright holder for the other five albums.) Some singles—among them, “Seven Nation Army,” “Hotel Yorba,” and “The Big Three Killed My Baby”—and their B-sides stayed on Spotify. Other streaming services weren’t affected. Thanks to reader Kyle Lorenzano for the tip.
