The latest episode of the podcast “WTF With Marc Maron” features two different conversations that took place in his garage—a shorter one with Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles and a longer one with Mikal Cronin. Listen to the Merge Records double-header here.

Titus Andronicus have also shared a video for The Most Lamentable Tragedy‘s “No Future Part IV: No Future Triumphant”, in which Stickles romps around the city, chain-smokes, dances on tops of vans, and performs with his band. Watch that below.

Maron and Stickles chatted about topics like Stickles’ personal life influencing his art, his approach toward playing live, and whether Keith Richards’ daughter knows who he is (owing to them having the same birthday, and a photo shoot where she posed with a copy of Local Business). Maron described him as having “a brain on fire; I like guys like that.”

Maron and Cronin went through Cronin’s upbringing, his relationship with Ty Segall, his musical influences, his early bands, and more. Amusingly, Cronin revealed that when he was young, he liked Nirvana so much he wanted to start a band called Nirvana 2.
