Toro Y Moi Announces Ambient Project PLUM, Shares New Song “New Globe”: Listen

Chaz Bundick (aka Toro Y Moi) has announced a new ambient project called PLUM. Today, he has released his debut song under the moniker, as part of Leaving Records’ “Modern New Age” series. It’s called “New Globe,” and it’s available on a self-titled cassette. It was inspired by the New Age composer Laraaji, according to a press release. Listen to “New Globe” below.

PLUM is just the latest in Bundick’s string of aliases. In 2014, he released the album Michael as Les Sins. His most recent Toro Y Moi album, Live from Trona, arrived earlier this year.
