Travis Scott’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight Reaches No. 1 on Album Chart

Travis Scott’s most recent album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart, Billboard reports. It knocked Barbra Streisand’s album from the top spot. The album sold 88,000 equivalent album units with 53,000 of those being traditional album sales. Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is Scott’s first No. 1 album. His 2015 album Rodeo peaked at No. 3  in September 2015.

Following albums by Drake, Frank Ocean, Future, and DJ Khaled, Scott’s album is the fifth Apple Music exclusive to reach No. 1 this year, Billboard notes.

Scott recently said he is executive producing Kanye West’s forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Winter, and revealed during an interview on Hot 97 that the compilation could be expected sometime next year.
