Trent Reznor “Working on Nine Inch Nails Stuff,” Shares New Track With Atticus Ross: Listen

Tomorrow, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Mogwai, and Argentine film composer Gustavo Santaolalla will release their soundtrack for Before the Flood–Leonardo DiCaprio’s climate change documentary for National Geographic. Today, Reznor and Ross were on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show to discuss their score and the film. They shared the score’s title track, which they wrote with Santaolalla. Below, listen to Reznor and Ross’ interview with Zane Lowe.

During the interview, Ross revealed the film’s working title was Are We Fucked Yet? Reznor also discussed his various projects. He said, “We’ve been working on Nine Inch Nails stuff.” He later added with regard to all of his work, “Things are going good, and when we have something that we think is excellent we will unleash it upon the world.” Earlier this month, he left open the possibility that the band will release new music in 2016. Reznor also discussed his and Ross’ score for Mark Wahlberg’s forthcoming 2013 Boston Marathon bombing movie, Patriot Day.
