Tupac Restaurant Based on Tupac’s Sketches Set to Open

On September 13 (the 20-year anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s untimely death), California-based restaurant Take 3 Burgers is set to host a pop-up restaurant featuring a menu and logo inspired by sketches and brainstorms the rap icon left behind after his death. Located in Fresno, the Powamekka Café was developed alongside marketing whiz Sam Hansen, and will be open for one day only. The menu will include items like “the California Love Chicken Sandwich, Hennessey Apple Butter chicken wings, a Mac-and-Cheeseburger and Thug Passion cake pops (champagne cake with Alize-flavored frosting),” according to the Business Journal. Open to all ages, the restaurant will also have local musicians covering Tupac’s music. Check out the original sketches below.
