Two Dead of Suspected Overdose at Hard Summer Music Festival

Two women have died from apparent drug overdoses following the first day of Hard Summer Music Festival in Pomona, California. KTLA5 (via Billboard) reports that the 18-year-old and 19-year-old women were taken to the hospital from the festival on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, they were pronounced dead.

Autopsies are expected to be performed in the coming week.

Yesterday was the first day of the festival. Performers included the Weeknd, the Chemical Brothers, Schoolboy Q, and Rae Sremmurd. Tomorrow’s lineup includes Caribou, Jack Ü, Jamie xx, Ratatat, Hudson Mohawke, Fetty Wap, iLoveMakonnen, Chromeo, and others.
