Tyler, the Creator Cancels UK/Ireland Shows, Including Reading and Leeds Festivals

Tyler, the Creator has cancelled four dates in the UK and Ireland due to – to put it in the vague terms described on his Twitter – “circumstances.” The shows include his sets at the Reading and Leeds festivals in England this weekend, as an August 25 show at the Academy in Belfast and an August 26 show at the Academy in Dublin.

Earlier this month, Tyler canceled his Australian tour following pressure from feminist group Collective Shout, who campaigned for the government to reject Tyler’s visa application on the basis of what they called “songs advocating rape and extreme violence against women”, as well as his behavior during past tours.
