Tyondai Braxton Announces New EP to Benefit Gun Safety Organization

Today, electronic musician and former Battles frontman Tyondai Braxton has released the Oranged Out EP, a five-track project that is being sold as pay-what-you-want with all proceeds going towards the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund, an American organization dedicated to fighting for gun control measures. “Everytown are raising awareness about gun violence and advocating for sensible gun safety measures in the wake of the Orlando shooting, Newtown, and Aurora,” Braxton writes on his Bandcamp page. “As well as the daily gun deaths that we’ve grown so accustomed to that it’s not even news worthy anymore.” The new EP features pieces that were originally meant for Braxton’s 2015 release HIVE1Check out the EP here and watch the video for the title track below.
