U2’s Bono Features on Kendrick Lamar’s New Song “XXX.”: Listen

Kendrick Lamar just released his new album, DAMN. Before its release, the Compton rapper teased the cover art and revealed the tracklist, which included Rihanna and U2 as featured artists. Now, the extent of his U2 collaboration has been revealed. “XXX.” prominently features Bono’s voice on its latter half, singing a refrain that includes the lyric, “You close your eyes to look around.” It appears to be a new recording. Listen to the song below. While how exactly the song came together is unclear, all of U2 are listed as composers on the song. Rihanna appears on the song “LOYALTY.”
